BSSC Bihar Staff Selection Commission invites online applications for recruitment to the post of LDC, Filaria Inspector, Assistant Instructor (Typing), Revenue Staff, Panchayat Secretary and Typist cum clerk for 23175 vacancies through 2nd Inter Level Combined Competitive Examination Advt No. 02/2023 (A). All eligible and interested candidates can apply online at BSSC official website bssc.bihar.gov.in or onlinebssc.com from 15th October 2025 to till the application last date 18th December 2025 for 2nd Inter Level Combined Competitive Examination Advt No. 02/2023 (A).

In the light of Bihar Staff Selection Commission Examination Conduct Rules-2010, the preliminary examination will be conducted if more than 40 (forty thousand) applications are received. If more applications are received, the preliminary examination can be conducted in more than one phase. The examination will be conducted in different phases. In case of conducting the examination, the result will be prepared by adopting the process of equalization.

The preliminary examination will be of objective nature. Candidates equal to 05 (five) times the number of category wise vacancies available through the preliminary examination will be selected for the main examination. A separate advertisement will be published for the main examination.
Preliminary Examination: In the preliminary examination, there will be one paper on General Knowledge, which will have the following topics:-
- General Studies
- General Science and Mathematics.
- Mental Ability Test (Comprehension/ Logic/ Reasoning/ Mental Ability)
Questions will be objective and multiple choice. Total number of questions will be 150. 4 marks will be given for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours 15 minutes. The medium of language in the preliminary examination will be Hindi/English. If there is any difference between Hindi and English question papers, only English questions will be valid.

In the light of Resolution No. 2374, dated 18.07.2007 issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (General Administration Department), it will be mandatory for the candidates to obtain minimum qualifying marks in the written examination, which is as follows: –

- The colored photograph must be a recent passport-style color picture.
- Dimensions: A passport size photograph with a 3.5 cm width and 4.5 cm height of the face.
- Format : jpg only
- Standard Print size : 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm (width X height)
- The size of the file should be between 20 kb-50 kb
- Background of Photo: White or a light color
- Both the ears MUST be visible in the photo.
- The photo should be without any cap/ hat.
- The poor quality photographs may result in the rejection of the application.
- Take an A4 white paper.
- Draw a rectangular box with the following dimensions: Breadth = 2 cm Width = 7 cm
- Sign with a black or dark blue ink pen within the box. The height or width of the signature should be at least 80% of the respective height or width of the rectangular box.
- A signature by any other person or in any other color will be rejected.
- Signature in all CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.
- Format :jpg only
- Maximum Size: 160 X 560 pixels| Minimum Size: 80 X 280 pixels
- Dimensions 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm (preferred)

How To Apply Online For BSSC Inter Level Exam 2025
- Online application can be filled on the Commission’s website https://bssc.bihar.gov.in from 15.10.2025 to 27.11.2025 at 11:59 pm.
- Candidates will scan and upload the Hindi and English signatures while submitting the online application.
- The Commission will not be responsible for internet or banking disruption. Therefore, candidates will not wait for the last dates and will complete all the processes before that. Also, the Commission will not be responsible for wrong payment/failed payment and the candidate will not be given additional time for correction.
- Candidates will be satisfied by seeing the preview before submitting the application form and if any correction is required, they will submit the application form only after making the necessary corrections using the edit option.
- Only one online application form can be filled by a candidate. In case a candidate fills more than one application form with the same address or by changing the address, all his/her application forms will be rejected and his/her candidature will be cancelled.
- It is mandatory to enter valid and active mobile number and email ID as it will be used for future communication. If you enter wrong or invalid mobile number and/or e-mail ID, you will be deprived of receiving important information in future, for which the Commission will not be responsible.
- Candidates will keep their Application Form Number / Registration Number / Roll Number safe. Candidates should keep a copy of the completely filled application form (including photograph) with them. Under no circumstances will duplicate/secondary registration number/application form number/admit card be issued by the Commission later.
